We love box sash windows, they are graceful, elegant and form part of our architectural identity in the UK. Traditionally, however, they have rattled, caused drafts, warped over time and then become difficult to operate.
Our sash windows are different; we use Accoya timber to ensure stability for on-going operation, and 50-year rot resistance. We use double glazing as standard and top quality draft proofing to keep you warm, reduce your energy bills and help block out unwanted noise from outside.
For a traditional look and sliding mechanism that will last decades, we still use pullies, cords and weights. We keep our timber frames, sashes and glazing bars as slim as possible to retain the character of your home.
